eshka doing the corset on the back of lucanis’s armor. her tying neve’s cravat, or fixing the veil on her hat. tucking the pins into bellara’s hair when she’s almost forgotten them. making sure the buckles are done right on davrin’s gauntlets. fixing emmrich’s collar pin and smoothing a stray hair back into place. double checking lace’s quiver and her arrows—memorizing exactly where she always adjusts her arm guard to and fixing it for her. double checking that taash hasn’t lost any of their jewelry—helping them put on their clawed gauntlets even if they didn’t ask for the help.
